Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie & Uzès | South of France

come away with us

women's weeks · april 2027

slow down.
come
home
to yourself.

This is an intimate gathering. A deliberate pause from the forward motion of life in the honey-colored South of France.

We replace a schedule with a rhythm. Mornings soft with light and movement. Afternoons open to wandering, creating, being. Evenings gathered around one long table, bread torn, laughter spilling like a second language.

You arrive as you are. You leave feeling clearer, lighter, and more yourself than you have in years.

We'll be living in a delightful stone maison immersed in a village of artists, a place that belongs to another rhythm. There is something that happens when you step into a circle like this, a part of you wakes up and says:

Oh yes, this is the part of me I belong to.”

Touching stone walls that are solid, alive, textured. Everyone pulling out their chairs for apéro each afternoon — the ritual of it, the collective exhale. Healing rest on the studio floor. The first bite of a sun-ripened pêche de vigne, its sweet juice running down your chin.

Slowing down enough to actually savor your own experience.

Just six women, we’ll become locals !

Remembering what feels true, spacious, and alive inside you.

You are welcome exactly as you are.

In the conversations we share around the table, in the circle, on an afternoon walk, this is what I'm holding for you...

I hope we talk about the honey. Who you met in the village. What comes alive in you when you slow down.

I hope you remember what you loved at age 8 and the intuitive wisdom of age 88 — and how both are informing your life right now.

I hope you live into that something inside you that is ready to come forth. A life that feels like your own.

Welcome to a honey-colored artists' village in the south of France, gathering us in a private 18th-century stone house that receives friends, not guests.

in the heart of COMMUNITY

A small, thoughtfully curated group of five women. All belonging to this community. Together, this is truly where the magic is.

My secret hope is for you is to wake up and feel like someone whispers, “Good morning, I’ve taken care everything!”

I want to open up my France to you. I’ll personally make sure there's good coffee and something delicious from the market every morning. Take you to the places I love. Help coordinate your pre-retreat travel and be your escort when needed, so the journey to France feels taken care of from the moment you step off the airplane.

Some days will leave room to wander, dine, rest, and discover on your own.

Because women need space. Warm, embodied, felt joy.

A circle who embraces you. Beauty. Laughter. Long exhale mornings and candlelit evenings.

Can you feel your body saying yes?‍ ‍‍ ‍

This week in the south of France feels like coming home to ourselves.  💓

Identity is not what we do, it’s who we are when no one is asking anything of us.

The inner life of a woman is a place beneath her roles, her responsibilities, her expectations. A space that blossoms with tending and calls for her attention. Visited, it becomes a source of clarity and steadiness. Over-burdened, it becomes like a room she once knew well but rarely enters anymore.

What I have found in my work with women over the last two decades is that patriarchial culture runs deep in how we're taught to live — an outward focus on control, achievement and productivity that, over time, exhausts her soul and quietly depletes her gifts.

This year, our women’s weeks thread is coming home to ourselves. An invitation to cross the threshold back into the interior world where memory, inspiration, joy, and wisdom move together.

There is an abundant landscape
within every woman.

Most of us are not raised to actively encounter our destiny... Many of us would have been, or at least might have been, done, tried something, if we had known who we really were.

You have gathered the most magical circle in the most magical of places. My roots are stronger and deeper. My body and senses are nourished. My heart overflows like the chalice. I’m home now and experiencing such a profound reset. Merci, merci beaucoup!
— Marian K, 2025

…in her words

I encountered trust in a real way. Trust in the earth to bring me back to joy, trust in my "sisters" to understand me better, and trust in the decisions I have to make. This was a magical, and energizing retreat. This was my first adventure on one of Shari’s retreats. Let me just say that I didn’t want it to end. I’m back home now and feeling more empowered to take better care of my soul and nurture my creativity. This retreat gave me that motivation, and I’m grateful.”

— Anna K, 2026

“Life changing, life affirming! It was a safe space to be vulnerable with the many experiences we are all dealing with in our daily lives. Shari is the most generous, loving, open facilitator. Everything was greater than I could have ever imagined. Thank you!”

— Cynthia P, 2018

“This retreat was a rebirth for me. I’ve done many activities in the past to understand what kind of leader I am and what my personality is, but this was the first time I actually saw who I am as a person and what motivates me. The connections I’ve made with a diverse group of women & the meaningful programs have truly been a blessing. Everything is brighter and more beautiful!”

—Makesha, 2019

Being with Shari is like the deep inhale of crisp, clean air on a mountain peak. Restorative, inspirational, and life giving to all the nooks and crannies of the soul that have been waiting to hear, ‘I see you.’ Her insight and intentions pave the way for transformation for anyone ready to receive.
— Ashley M, 2024

I work in a male-dominated industry and I am the Mom and “man” of my home. Vulnerability is not a trait I am comfortable showing outside of a very small circle. Being able to share pieces of myself in such a safe, supported space feels life changing. I didn’t realize how much I was missing genuine feminine connections. I am so much lighter in not just my body, but also my soul!

— Rebecca P, 2026

“Something special from this retreat was an understanding of vulnerability. I’ve been inspired to be more vulnerable, because it will lead to deeper connections. I’ve read about this and yearned to be vulnerable, but here on retreat I actually experienced and practiced it. That was life-changing.”

— Kelsey C, 2019

“Hard to believe for myself that after 10+ years of the Diamond Approach I'm still a woman of few words... but gratitude, warmth & compassion runs deep in me. Thank you for all the effort you put into making this a loving and kind world. Thank you for giving us space to feel safe as we explore our inner world.“

— Kim, 2016

…see you in france!
